American Wilderness Coalition's Rapid Response Grant Program 

The American Wilderness Coalition seeks to expand and protect our National Wilderness Preservation System by providing financial assistance for advocacy work to the many individuals and organizations involved in campaigns to preserve wilderness across the country today.

As a 501(c)(4) organization, the American Wilderness Coalition is uniquely able to provide resources for direct or grassroots lobbying and advocacy work on wilderness and public lands issues. We recognize that wilderness campaigns are often met with challenges or opportunities that occur suddenly and must be responded to or acted upon quickly. Through its Rapid Response Grants Program, the American Wilderness Coalition provides financial resources in a flexible and timely manner to help wilderness advocates effectively respond to or capitalize on such situations to advance their wilderness efforts.
